With over 40 years experience in the industry, Belhaven Smokehouse are renowned specialists in smoked and marinated fresh fish. Beyond that, our physical shop also offers everything from smoked coffee beans to natural handcream!
Starting out as trout farmers, we are a family-run organisation who put a lot of passion and energy into what we do. We may no longer be trout farmers, but that isn't to say we haven't kept up strong relationships with local fish farmers in and around our home town of Dunbar, a historic fishing town.
Our extensive selection of hand-filleted fish and smoked trout and salmon is built upon all the time, keeping things fresh and vibrant. If you're looking for Scottish rainbow trout or Shetland salmon with an unbeatable taste, texture and quality, you need look no further. We pride ourselves on our focus on locally sourced raw ingredients of the finest quality to ensure you get the best flavour possible.
Cured using a family recipe, our smoked salmon is distinctive for its unique flavour which is achieved by utilising whisky cask oak shavings. As well as straight up smoked salmon and trout, we also offer marinated products such as sweet chilli, lemon and coriander, and lots more.
Supplying some of Scotland's most prestigious hotels and restaurants has helped our reputation has grown over the years.
